2009
Four people, one tower
Our story
Amjad began in 2009 with a single mixed-use tower in New Cairo and four people who had all quit the same brokerage on the same week. We'd spent years watching buyers sold whatever the firm needed to move that quarter, and we thought the whole model was upside down.
So we inverted it. We only list what we'd put our own money into, we publish the yield model behind every asset, and we stay on after handover to manage what we sold. It's slower. It costs us listings. It has also meant that most of our growth for sixteen years has come from clients buying a second, third and fourth time.
Today Amjad has delivered 124 assets across residential, commercial and mixed-use, with 2.4 billion EGP under management. The team is 48 people. The idea hasn't changed.

Amjad is founded in New Cairo. The first asset — a 14-floor mixed-use tower — sells out before topping-out.
2013
The management arm
Clients keep asking us to run what we sold them. We stop saying no and open Amjad Management.
2016
First compound
Amjad Gardens: 88 townhouses, delivered eleven weeks early. Still our benchmark for handover.
2019
One billion under management
The portfolio crosses 1B EGP. Sixty-one percent of new capital comes from existing clients.
2022
Commercial & institutional
First fund allocation. Amjad opens a dedicated desk for institutional real assets.
2025
124 assets, 2.4B under management
Amjad passes 890 investors served, with a 94% management-renewal rate.
